City artist Ravi Kattakuri, whose works will be displayed at the India Art Fair next week, wowed Vizagites at his recent 3-day show at Visakha Heritage Museum Art lovers in
Vizag, who made it to the three-day art exhibition featuring Ravi Kattakuri’s works, were all praise for the artist who used the Madhubani technique to depict man’s relationship with nature.
The theme of his latest collection revolves around human emotions and reflects the various moods one goes through in day-to-day life. His mixed media installations mainly focus on relationships between men, women, flora and fauna. Talking about his collection, Ravi says, “My paintings portray nature in all its beauty and glory. At present, I’m experimenting with mixed media installations and through these I convey my life philosophy.”
Sayeeda Ali, a well-known city artist who advocates art therapy, says, “It’s very interesting to see his works that depict the beauty of a woman in a distinct way.”
After his successful show in Vizag, the artist is all set to showcase his work in Delhi at the India Art Fair next week.
